At the end of the year we celebrate Oseibo Day. It is when we give gifts to honor those that have helped us over the past 12 months. During this time we also observe Bodhi Day, December 8, the day the Buddha realized awakening under the Bodhi tree. The Buddha is the first jewel of Buddhism along with the second, the Dharma, and third, the Sangha. For Buddhists, these are the three most important gifts that we can receive and share with others. Rev Turner will examine each, in order, along with their continued significance in our lives.
