ORANGE COUNTY BUDDHIST CHURCH POLICY REGARDING SERVICE ANIMALS
To ensure the safety and accessibility of all persons on Orange County Buddhist Church
(“OCBC”) property, animals are not permitted on the church campus, including buildings, outdoor spaces, and parking areas (“Church Property”).
The sole exception to this policy is for trained service animals that are trained to perform specific tasks for the benefit of a person with a disability, in accordance with applicable federal and California law (“Service Animals”).
Emotional support, therapy, comfort, or companion animals that are not trained Service Animals are not allowed. Individuals accompanied by a Service Animal are responsible for maintaining the control of the animal at all times and ensuring it does not pose a threat or disruption to others.
OCBC reserves the right to ask that a Service Animal be removed from Church Property if the animal is not under control or if the animal presents a direct threat to the health or safety of others.
